This Gypsy Red and India Ivory white 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air Nomad stationwagon was fully restored by Reynolds-Alberta Museum staff and volunteers. At $2,571, it was Chevrolet's most expensive style with the exception of Corvette and with a run of 6,103 units it was also the least produced model, again with the exception of Corvette. The chrome “V” below the taillights indicates that it was equipped with Chevrolet’s then new 4.3 L (265 ci) V8 engine.

New for 1955 was Chevrolets Bel-Air Nomad, a 2 door hardtop sport-type station wagon. At $2,571, it was Chevrolet's most expensive style with the exception of Corvette and with a run of 6103 units it was also the least produced model, again with the exception of Corvette.

2007-2010 - US economic crisis causes financial issues for all Big 3 car companies in US. GM requests a loan from US government to get them through the crisis.
2007-2010 - Chevrolet launches new lines, including more fuel-efficient models and hybrids, to get them more market share and rebound financially.
2008 - 2013 - Vehicle restored by Reynolds-Alberta Museum staff and volunteers.
2016 - Chevrolet introduces the Volt, the first affordable mass market all electric-car.
